Marc Spector: A former Mercenary, Marc Spector was betrayed by his partner while on a mission in Egypt. Spector was carried to shelter by adherents of an ancient Egyptian religion, but it was apparently too late to save his life. For nearly a minute, Spector lay dead before the statue of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon, before his heart miraculously began to beat again. After several false identities and a crisis of faith in his deity, Marc Spector has returned to the role of Moon Knight and works freelance for various peacekeeping agencies, including SHIELD. |

Scott Lang: When his daughter's life was in danger from a heart condition, Lang sought the aid of the famous physician Dr. Erica Sondheim but discovered she was being held prisoner at Cross Technological Enterprises. Lang broke into the home of Dr. Henry Pym and stole his Ant-Man uniform and shrinking gas. After rescuing Dr. Sondheim, who saved the life of his daughter, Scott went to turn himself in for stealing the Ant-Man costume but Pym allowed him to keep the costume as long as continued putting it to lawful use. An associate of both the Fantastic Four and Avengers, Scott now works for SHIELD. |
